Commitments to quality:
I’ve had the privilege to work on (and play!) some of the most beautiful and iconic guitar amps of all time. But my philosophy towards amps is this: whether it’s a pristine ‘67 Plexi or a beat up Hot Rod Deluxe, any amp can be a tool of expression and sonic goodness. It’s my commitment to treat every amp with the detail and care I put into my own gear. I therefore guarantee the following:
All work guaranteed for 6 months after service. If there’s a problem with one of the components I’ve replaced or rewired (except tubes*), I’ll fix it at no charge up to 6 months after the initial repair.
I will always consult you before performing work to discuss the repair. No surprise bills. All work will be documented via a shared Google doc invoice in real time including pics of issues/fixes.
All components will be returned to you with the amp. I will never remove vintage components without consultation. And I will always give you the choice of components used, from budget to boutique.
I will never leave goopy messes of solder, flux, or silicone in your amp. I will never tack solder components to old leads.
*Tube life and functionality is unpredictable, especially for new production tubes. I source new tubes from reputable tube dealers that guarantee their tubes up to a couple of months. Beyond that, I can not guarantee the longevity of tubes but can provide advice and order tube brands known to have the least issues.
